Josefina Vega Lopez's Obituary
Josefina was born in a town in Sinaloa, Mexico, to Tirso Vega and Maria Rabago. She was one of 9 children. Josefina migrated to the United States in 1989 and lived in Escondido since. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, 4 children, 8 grandchildren, sons and daughter in law, and 6 siblings.
Josefina was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and a friend, her door was always open to all. Her family and friends will always keep the fond memories we have of her. She was a very loving and giving woman with a beautiful soul. She loved to crochet, read, write and sing. Later in life she crochet hats to donate at children’s hospital.
She was known to be have a gift for cooking. She could come up with a whole meal so fast and we little ingredients and love sharing her food with neighbors.
We will miss her dearly including her sense of humor.
