My deepest sympathy to the Rodriguez Family. Having grown up with Carey & Anita (and many of the family members) I Have very fond memories of Johnny & Mary when we were kids. I will remember them both with love. They welcomed me into there home and treated me as family. Seems like yesterday, I’d walk across the sweet potato field behind my Mom’s store to see if the girls could come out & play.
Carey & I Had the pleasure of taking Johnny to lunch awhile back and we had one of his old friends & his daughter, join us. The “Boys” talked about their younger years at Sherman & then their time in the service. They were both very proud of their time in the service & rightfully so.
I never knew Johnny to be anything but kind and cheerful, he was a wonderful man & my life is better for having known him. It’s so hard to loose a loved one but if we remember they are really in the safest place they can be...in our hearts ♥️ & God’s Hands🙏.They live through us now & it’s our responsibility to share their memories with Love.
With Heartfelt Sadness,
Gracie
