John Quincy Gorbet's Obituary
John was born in Delta, Colorado, but spent most of his life in Southern California. He served as a Staff Sgt. in the Army Air Corp in WWII. He worked at Miramar Naval Air Station training crash fire fighters for many years. Later he drove a school bus, and assisted in the family business, Gorbet's Decorating. John was a longtime member of Emmanuel Faith Community Church in Escondido. He was preceded in death by 12 siblings, and his wife of 58 years, F. Virginia. He is survived by his daughters, Beverly Lieurance of Escondido, F. Dianne Turney of Weaverville, CA and Melody Mayner of Sandy, Oregon; 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandch
