How sad to hear of John's passing. I worked with John years ago at Sharp Memorial Hospital. Our daughters went to St. Mary's School together so we always had that in common. John was such a USC fan! It makes me sad to think of him gone. He will always be in my prayers.

I just learned of this. I worked with John, shared an office with him. We played basketball together, the picture shows him guarding me, John wearing a large knee brace post ACL repair. We went with a group of hospital guys on an overnight ocean fishing trip. John and I stayed up late in the galley, until the Captain shut us down. I’ve been relocated 33 years since those days. We were able to get together when I made it back to Escondido. I will miss my friend, and retain my good memories of him. I was fortunate to know John. Condolences to his family, and other friends…❤️
John was one of the kindest, most helpful, friendliest, and approachable pharmacists I have ever met. He was the go to clinical pharmacist who I heavily relied on for clinical advice during my time at Palomar. He always had the answer. His clinical expertise and network were so vast and he always had such a positive impact on everyone around him. In more ways than one, he was a role model for all around him, and for all who looked up to him. You will be greatly missed, John.
Holiday dinners, improv shows, concerts, family trips abroad, baseball games, epic hikes, Broadway shows—-Uncle John was always up for adventure! To the man who was like a second father to me, a mentor to others, and a family man through and through — you live on through the impact you had on others.
