Joanne Honore Kopren's Obituary
Although most of her adult life was spent with her family in Escondido, CA,
Joanne & Morry retired in Glenwood, NM in 1999 where she had many close
freinds that she loved. A Catholic church community that she cherished.
All in a town that she dearly loved.
In 2021, she moved back to Escondido to be near her family. She loved
knitting, crochet, quilting and numerous crafts where she could make gifts
for anyone she met. A lover of all animals, she spent the majority of her
final years feeding and caring for feral cats in her community. She even
managed to domesticate one that moved in with her, while still feeding all
the others outside. She will be missed by so many.
Preceded in Death by her husband Maurice Kopren, Sons David Hathaway,
Glenn Hathaway and Mark Hathaway.
Surviving Children are Deborah Hathaway, Kathy Hathaway, Gary
Hathaway Kopren, Maureen Thornton, and Son-in-Law Frank Ewing.
