Joan Marie Maucere's Obituary
Joan Maucere passed away Saturday morning July 27th after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Joan was the widow of the love of her life, Edward Maucere. She was an incredible mother to Marie Elaine Pospichal, Kristin Maccarrone and Mark Maucere. She was a supporting and loving mother-in-law to Joseph Pospichal, Ermanno Maccarrone and Kelly Maucere. Her grandchildren, Joey Pospichal, Elizabeth Fromm, Nicholas Maucere, Jack Maucere and Samuele Maccarrone brought her the most joy. Joan was a devout Catholic who practiced, shared and lived her faith in all she did. She was active at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in Escondido where she participated in their church community by sharing with friends in prayer groups, book clubs and leading RCIA team where she welcomed many new Catholics to the faith. She was known for her kindness, optimistic disposition, strength and warm smile, all of which stemmed from her faith in our Savior Jesus Christ. She will be missed by many.
