Joan Bushu's Obituary
Joan Bushu, age 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. She spent her last days with her husband of almost 45 years, Leo Bushu, at their home in Valley Center, CA.
On October 13, 1938 Joan was born to parents Allen and Dorothy Scholz. Her surviving family include: her husband, Leo, her sister, Judy ,two children, Robert and Patti, two step-children, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services for Joan will take place at 2:30pm on Monday, February 9, 2026 at Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego, CA. All are welcome to attend and join the family for a time of food and fellowship afterwards at J&M’s Family Restaurant in Escondido.
Joan was a very gifted woman, faithful wife, loving mother and grandmother. She will be missed but her friends and family are comforted that Joan is in the loving arms of her Heavenly Father.
