Jennie Snelling's Obituary
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alberto and Maria Valpreda; her sister, Marguerite Parris; and her husband, Ray. She is survived by her brother, John Valpreda (Carol); her son Dennis; her daughter, Sharon; her grandson Erik Ruzek (Nichole); granddaughter, Kimber Tompkins (Craig); great granddaughter, Naomi Ruzek; and great grandson, Cole Tompkins. She attended Escondido High School with her sister Marguerite. She was born in Vista. The family eventually settled in San Marcos, where they started a winery. Jennie worked with other family members in the vineyard including chores like plowing and harvesting. Later she worked as a grader at the Orange House in Es Donations on Jennie's behalf should be sent to Elizabeth Hospice 150 W. Crest, Escondido, CA 92025.
