Jason Benjamin Pike's Obituary
Jason Benjamin Pike, age 53, of Escondido, California, passed away on April 19, 2026, after a long and courageous journey with cancer. Born in San Diego County, Jason spent his entire life in Escondido, a community he loved deeply and was proud to call home.He graduated from Escondido High School and built a strong work ethic that carried him through many years as a manager with Costco, Direct Buy, Lowe’s, and Redline Surgical where he made many connections that he cherished.Jason found his greatest happiness in spending time with his family and friends. He especially loved making memories on desert trips in his Jeep, where his adventurous spirit shined. A private funeral and burial will take place on Tuesday, April 28. Friends and loved ones are welcome to join Jason's family for a public Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 6 at Felicita Park. There we will come together to remember Jason and celebrate the impact he had on our lives. Jason is survived by his wife of 23 years, Lori Pike, his daughters Ava Pike and Taylor Guenther, and his son‑in‑law, Dylan Guenther, his mother, Kathy Gossein, and step‑father, Anton Gossein; his father, Daryl Pike; his brother, Jeff Pike; and his sister, Jennifer Pike. Jason’s family was an important part of his life, and he loved them deeply. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” - 2 Timothy 4:7 In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Sarcoma Alliance (https://sarcomaalliance.org), an organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by sarcoma.
