James Philip Felix's Obituary
James was preceded in death by his brother Joesph Felix in 1999. He is survived by his wife of 62 years: Pauline Felix; Daughter: Linda Morris Freshwater and husband John; Sons: James P. Felix and wife Jennifer, and Jeffrey P. Felix and wife Deborah; Brothers: William Felix, Leo Felix and his wife, Patti, and Frank Felix and his wife, Dee. James has 8 grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. James served in the United States Army from 1943-1945. He received the Purple Heart, the Silver Star, the Bronze Star, and the French Croix de Guerre for serving The French Underground. James was a member of The Escondido Kiwanis since 1960. He was the past president of the Palomar YMCA as well as a Member Ambassador of The Escondido Chamber of Commerce and The First United Methodist Church.
