James Neal Partridge's Obituary
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Partridge; mother, Hazel Partridge; brother, Donald Partridge; son, Brian Partridge; brother-in-law David Van Iwaarden; and mother-in-law, Vera Van Iwaarden. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen; son, Jeff of Escondido; daughter, Cindy Carpio of Dana Point; father-in-law, William Van Iwaarden of Vista; sister-in-law, Linda Lockman (Ron) of Escondido; brother-in-law, Jim Van Iwaarden (Ellen) of Minneapolis, Minn; Jerry Van Iwaarden (Emma) of Cedar City, Utah; and many nieces and nephews. He was born in Monterey Park, CA. He graduated from Arcadia High School and joined the Air Force where he became a "steely-eyed missile man" working on Titan II missiles. After his service in the Air Force, he attended computer school and worked for Burroughs, NCR, and Intel. He was a member of the Escondido Fish and Game Association where he enjoyed target shooting. He also enjoyed photography, hiking, and exploring the outdoors with his boys. He was interested in WWII planes and enjoyed visits to the Palm Springs Air Museu
