James L. Showers' Obituary
James L. Showers, 90, longtime resident of Escondido, CA, died March 16, 2015 of natural causes with his wife, Norma and his dog, Charlie by his side.
He served in the USMC during WWII and was a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years Norma Showers, sister Pat (Harry) Sherman of Escondido, foster-daughter Carol Asbury, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held March 24, 2015 at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Escondido at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to Elizabeth Hospice.
