Jim will always be remembered as an endearing, gentle, sweet, kind, helpful friend. Although we met him later in his life, after his memory had stared to give him struggles, he was a pleasure to know, be neighbors with, and to serve with in the Uganda Kampala Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The nine months we served together and were neighbors with he and Joanne are filled with warm memories of group activities, fearless adventures, heartwarming humanitarian work, and lots of great eating excursions. He will always hold a tender spot in our hearts and we offer our sincere sympathy to Joanne and all his dear family.
