Born on January 14, 1957, in Salem, Indiana, to Claude Robert Wallace and Anna Marie (Coles) Wallace. Ivana's early years were filled with the warmth of a close-knit family. She was a sister to Claudine Elizabeth, Vicky Diane, and Zandra Kay, sharing with them the joys and sorrows of life.
Raised in Poway, Ivana graduated with the class of 1975 from Poway High School. This laid the foundation for a career marked by compassion and service to others. Ivana married Michael Trecroce in September of 1985. For a decade, Ivana dedicated herself as a medical assistant, a role that allowed her to touch the lives of many with her nurturing care. Later, she channeled her innate organizational skills into her work as an administrative assistant at multiple funeral homes, where she provided comfort to families during their times of greatest need.
Ivana's commitment to her faith was unwavering. She was an active member of Living Way Church for over four decades, embodying the church's teachings in her everyday life and inspiring others to do the same. Her involvement in Blue Star Mother's and the Assistance League further highlighted her desire to serve and uplift her community. Ivana's generosity of spirit knew no bounds and her presence was a source of stability and love for all who knew her.
A woman of many passions, Ivana found joy in the simplest of pleasures. She was a lover of travel, always keen to explore new horizons and embrace different cultures. Her hands were rarely still as she channeled her creativity into crochet, needlepoint, baking, and scrapbooking, crafting memories that her family will treasure forever. These interests were more than hobbies, they were extensions of her love for life and her desire to share that love with others.
Above all, Ivana cherished her role as a mother and grandmother. Her children, Moriah Ann Pace (Garret), Matthew James Trecroce, Andrew Joseph Trecroce, and James Michael Trecroce, were her pride and joy. Her love multiplied with the arrival of her grandchildren, Trizah, Silas, and Lilah, who brought her immeasurable happiness. Ivana's legacy is reflected in the lives of her children and grandchildren, who continue to walk in the light of her teachings and love.
Ivana's life can be best summed up by words such as kind, faith-filled, and courageous. She faced life's challenges with a quiet strength and a heart full of hope, often being the pillar others leaned on in their times of need. Her selfless nature was a testament to her character and her impact on the world is indelible.
As Ivana Sue Trecroce's chapter on this earth closes, she is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her surviving family members, including her mother Anna Marie Wallace, her sisters Vicky Diane and Zandra Kay, her children, Moriah Ann Pace (Garret), Matthew James Trecroce, Andrew Joseph Trecroce and Jame Michael Trecroce; and grandchildren: Tirzah, Silas and Lilah. She was preceded in death by her father, Claude Robert Wallace and sister Claudine Elizabeth. Ivana's life was a tapestry of love and service, a story woven with threads of grace that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
