Irene Imogene Harper Westerkamp's Obituary
Irene Imogene Harper Westerkamp, 91, of Idaho Falls, ID passed away August 30, 2012, at The Gables Assisted Living with her daughter by her side. She was under the care of Aspen Home Health & Hospice. Irene was born January 11, 1921, in Bates, Arkansas, to Roy Harper and Delpha Mae Norton Harper. She grew up and attended schools in Fort Collins, Colorado. On June 16, 1942, she married Ralph Henry Westerkamp in Salinas, California. They lived in Escondido and San Marcos, California. Ralph passed away in 1996. In 2003 she moved to Idaho to be near their daughter and her family. Irene was a wife, mother, a Irene is survived by her Daughter, Bonnie (Ted) Ward of Idaho Falls, ID; Sister, Bettijean Powell of Clovis, CA; 2 Grandchildren, Jennifer and Gillian Tollast and 5 Great Grandchildren.
