Ilinka Djokich's Obituary
Ilinka Djokich passed away peacefully October 2, 2023 at her home in San Diego surrounded by family. Born July 31, 1939 in Smoluća, Bosnia. Ilinka is survived by her adoring daughters Biljana and Snezana. She was a beloved grandmother to Marko, Boris, Sasha, Kristina, Alexander, and Peter. Ilinka was loved and cherished greatly by her family and friends. We will all miss her unconditional love. She will be in our hearts and thoughts for the rest of our lives, just as we were in her heart during her fruitful life. Rest in peace. We love you forever. A service will be held on October 10, 2023 at 12:30pm at St. Petka’s Serbian Orthodox Church (1854 Knob Hill Road, San Marcos, CA 92069). Following the service she will be laid to rest at 2:30pm at Oak Hill Memorial Park (2640 Glenridge Rd, Escondido, CA 92027). Lunch will be provided after her burial at St. Petka’s Church. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to St. Petka’s Church.
