Homer "Bud" Blanton, Jr.'s Obituary
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; sons, Mike Blanton (Dawn), Jeff Blanton (Korina), Bradley Blanton (Pamela) and Douglas Blanton; daughters, Jenny Werdick (Grant) and Barbara Blanton; grandchildren, Matthew, Amanda, Eliana, And Emma Lee. Bud served in the Navy during Vietnam, earning several medals. Bud was an avid reader and served as the President of the Mountain Shawdows Homeowner's Association. He married his wife Sharon on January 10, 1970; his greatest legacy was his devotion to his wife, children, and grandchildren. Mr. Blanton's life revolved around his family including coaching his children's sports teams and participating in their numerous other activities.
