Harold K Sikes' Obituary
Harold K Sikes passed away on Sunday July 25, 2021, in Escondido California.
Hal was born on June 26, 1942 in Winnsboro, Louisiana. Growing up, he spent time in Louisiana, California and the Philippines with his mom and step dad while they served in the Navy. After graduating Chula Vista High School in 1960, Hal joined the Air Force as military police, as well as training police dogs.
Hal was involved with his daughters in youth soccer, Girl Scouts and other school activities. He was a member of the San Diego Sheriff’s Search and Rescue team for over 10 years.
He was a proud supporter of our country, his Cajun history, the LSU Tigers and loved his family!
He is survived by his daughters Kimberly Kelly, Krista Ochoa and Kelly Santar; son-in-law Pete Santar; and grandchildren Kelsey Maxwell (spouse Jacy Maxwell), Megan Falconer, Jack Falconer (spouse Megan Falconer), Kylie Hecker, Mark Santar, Kayden Hecker, Taylor Santar and Sophia Ochoa.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 7th at 11:30 am at Alhiser-Comer Mortuary in Escondido.
