Harold Richard Corp Jr.'s Obituary
Harold Richard (Richie) Corp Jr. passed away on February 21st 2015 in Escondido, CA at the age of 78. He was born in Du Bois, Pennsylvania in December 5th 1936 and was a 3 --‐sport standout in football, baseball and basketball where he graduated from Du Bois H.S in
1954. He served as a Corpsman in the U.S Navy from 1954--‐57. He married Mary Olmes on August 1st in 1959 and together they had 4 children.
Rich was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather Bess and Francis Vail and father Harold Richard Corp. He is survived by his brother and sister in law, Jim and Karen Corp, his wife Mary Corp, his children Chris and Mary Corp, Cathy and Chuck Schwartz, Sharon Corp, Richie and Aimee Corp, his grandchildren, Michael & Taryn Sprouse, Aaron Corp, Lauren Corp, Michaela Schwartz, Jackson Corp, Mason Corp and great grandchild, Zachary Sprouse. His love of family was immense.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00pm on Saturday Feb 28th at Alhiser-Comer Mortuary in
Escondido. Military interment will take place 9:30 am March 5th at Miramar National Cemetery.
