Gustave Conrad Klammer's Obituary
Gus is survived by his children, Paula Ball, Mark Klammer, Bonnie Klammer; and grandsons, Gustavo Klammer, and Matthew and Andrew Ball. One of 16 children born to parents Adolf and Julianna Klammer, Gus served in the Royal Canadian Navy as a ship's carpenter during World War II, and later immigrated to California with his wife, Glenna. She was his wife for 46 years and passed away in 199 Gustave was a resident of Escondido for 54 years. A 32 Degree Free Mason, Gus joined the Masonic Order in Canada in 1942 at the Burrard Lodge in Vancouver. He was a member of Consuelo Masonic Lodge in Escondido and also a member of Royal Arch Masons, Kn Recognized throughout his life for his philanthropy, Gus supported the Shriner's Hospitals for Children, the Loma Linda University Medical Center and the YMCA.
