Guadalupe “Lupe†Meza Flores, 89, died peacefully Friday, May 6, 2011 in Lancaster, CA. Born March 24, 1922 in Long Beach CA, she lived in Escondido for 25 years. Mrs. Flores was a member of St. Mary's Church since 1986. Lupe enjoyed Latin music, traveling, family barbeques and church events. Mrs. Flores was preceded in death by her husband Francisco in 2007, her son, Robert in 1985 and her grandson Alex Covarubias in 2000. She also survived her brothers Jose, Cruz, Mike and Beto.
