Gloria Amadeo Bermudez's Obituary
On Thursday, October 24, 2019, Gloria Amadeo Bermudez, devoted mother of four sons, passed away at the age of 75.
Gloria was born Gloria Flores Amadeo, on April 15, 1944, in La Union; a province in the Philippines located in the Ilocos Region on the island of Luzon. During a time riddled by war and destruction, her family raised her to be a person of loyalty, steadfastness, and determination. She studied to become a registered nurse at the age of 21 and continued to excel in all aspects of nursing for over 40 years.
Gloria mothered four young men. She provided stability in their lives and was a nurturing constant whose love knew no bounds. Glo-worm loved traveling, cleaning, dancing, animals, people, gardening, and especially cleaning 😁. She also had a passion for reading and learning; she would habitually win at most quick-thinking board games and always seemed to know the question when watching Jeopardy. Lastly, Gloria adored life. Her smile, laughter, and positive energy filled rooms for 75 years on this planet. Ask any one of her friends or relatives - they will certainly recall a time when Gloria brought happiness into their lives or warmth into their hearts.
Gloria was preceded in death by her father, Catalino, and her mother, Carmen. She is survived by her four charming sons, Ron (wife, Debbie), Michael (wife, Danielle), Ryan, and Romy (wife, Dana); her two enchanting granddaughters, Joyanna Gloria (wife, Helen) and Riley; and her two delightful grandsons, Evan and Andrew. She would get a kick out of these descriptions.
