Gilbert M. Hansen's Obituary
Gilbert Hansen was born in Eugene, Oregon and has lived in the San Diego area for most of his life. He was a U.S. Navy WWII veteran and worked in the aircraft industry during his professional career. He was an avid water skier throughout his younger years. Gilbert was a longtime member of the Escondido Elks Lodge and the San Diego Air and Space Museum. Gilbert was preceded in death by his wife, Frances; and daughter, Barbara. He is survived by son, David Hansen (Shari); son-in-law, Larry Freeman; grandchildren, Dennis Irwin (Adriana), Dana Howell (Robert), Jill Perez (Max), and Britt Hansen; and six gr
