Geraldine (Gerry) Beckman's Obituary
Family and friends mourn the passing of Geraldine (Gerry) Beckman, 89, who died Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at her home. An 85 year resident of Escondido, she was born November 17, 1921, in Faribault, MN. Gerry married William Beckman in 1942. A well-known local artist, she created beautiful paintings for friends and family. She enjoyed square dancing, doing needlework with friends, and playing the piano and organ. Most of all, Gerry loved her family and enjoyed being a wife, mother, grandmoth She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill, in 1994, and her only brother, Earl Squier, in 1998. She is survived by her daughter, Pat (James) Kerr; sons, Jim (Sue) Beckman, Bill Beckman, and Dan (Barbara) Beckman; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great Memorial contributions may be made in Gerry’s name to the Elizabeth Hospice Foundation – www.elizabethhospice.org
