Gerald Geurkink's Obituary
Mr. Geurkink was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Geurkink, in 2000. He is survived by his daughters Barbara Kintigh (Ray) and Sandy Roth (David); son John Geurkink (Patty); sisters Helen Boer and Bernice Strain (Bob); brother Lewis Geurkink (June); grandchildren, Christopher, Meribeth, Heidi, Heather, Bobbi Jo, Gerry, Cheri, Destry, Brianna, Donand and Sarah. He owned an egg ranch from 1959 to 1974. He then started in the carpet cleaning industry as a technician and equipment manufacturer. He was a member of the Escondido United Reformed Church since 1959. He enjoyed woodworking and singing. The family suggests donations to Calvin Christian School, 2000 N. Broadway, Escondido, CA 92026.
