George W. Bacher's Obituary
George W. Bacher, 96 died March 8, 2012. Born June 27, 1915 in Roseburg, Oregon, he graduated from Roseburg High School in 1934. He married June Masters in 1939. George worked for the War Department and Lockheed Corporation before serving in the Army Air Force during WWII. After the war, he owned and operated a farm and country grocery. He attended Southern Oregon College with his wife. He went on to receive hi As an educator, he taught in Grants Pass, Oregon, then moving to California in 1959, teaching in Yucaipa, Valley Center, and then Escondido until his retirement. He worked for San Pasqual School District for 10 years. George and June, along with their b June preceded George in death in 1993. He is survived by their son, Bryce J. Bacher and his wife, Sun. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Helen Lassiter.
