George P. Glatzel's Obituary
Goerge Phillip Glatzel passed away at his residence in Escondido, CA on January 16, 2013, at the age of 72. He was born in Manhattan New York, NY on August 22, 1940 to Anna and George Glatzel. He graduated from the City College of New York in 1962 with a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering. George had a long and very rewarding career as a Civil Servant that spanned over 40 years with the Navy.
His work as a Civil Servant began in 1962 at the Navy Shipyard in Brooklyn, NY. In 1972 he moved to Doylestown, PA where he worked at the Naval Air Development Center (NADC) and then moved to San Diego, CA in 1996 to work at the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) in San Diego, CA all while staying in the sam George was survived by his children Lori Anne Glatzel and George Phillip Glatzel Jr.
