George "Gene" Watson's Obituary
Mr. Watson is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Watson; sons, George "Bill" Watson (RaeAnne), Robert "Bob" Watson; brother, John Watson, sister, Marilyn Miles (Joe); grandchildren, Christopher, Brandon and Adam Watson. He retired as a warrant Officer from the Navy in 1973. While in the Navy, Gene served on LST 1096 "St. Clair County" and the U.S.S. Paul Revere, he graduated from Nuclear Power Training School in 1961 and then served on the Nuclear subs S.S.N. 606 Tinosa He graduated from Hannibal High School in Hannibal, MO and graduated from Palomar College with an Associates degree in 1982. He worked for SDG&E for 20 years at the Encina Power Plant as a shift supervisor, retiring in 1944. He was an avid bowler who bowled a perfect 300 game in 2000. He bowled for over 23 years on various leagues and most recently on teams with his sons, Bill
