Loving husband of Joan Galindo for 24 years; Treasured father to Ashlie age 18, Adon age 21, and David Perkins age 29; Cherished son of Pete and Betty Galindo; Special brother to Peter and wife Cathy, Packy and wife Susan, Leanne Lauritzen and husband Jim; Uncle to Jason and wife Deb, Grant and Brett Lauritzen; Great-Uncle to Geoffrey and Gella; Nephew to Helen Galindo; Cousin to David and wife Barbara, Diane Snyder and husband Denny, Donna Boucher and husband Gary, Deron and wife Lori. Geoffrey was born in Escondido where he graduated from Escondido High School in 1973, attended Palomar College and later Graduated from San Diego State University with a B.A. in Criminal Justice. He received a Master's degree in Management from the Unive Escondido Police Sergeant Geoffrey Galindo was a 27 year veteran with the Escondido Police Department. He was also a respected Law Enforcement Instructor at the Palomar College Police Academy and the San Diego Regional Police Training Center where he tou In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Geoff Galindo Memorial Fund" for assisting his children's college educations, at the Escondido Federal Credit Union, 201 N.
