Gene Corley's Obituary
Gene T. Corley, 82 of Valley Center passed away peacefully at his home on April 3, 2015. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He proudly served in the USMC during the Korean and Vietnam Wars and also worked as a Mail Carrier in Vista. Gene was preceded in death by Mitsuko, his beloved wife of 38 years. He is survived by his three sons, Lee, Richard, and John; 4 grandchildren, Michael, Chanel, Melissa and Marlene; and his friend and companion of 20 years.
A Memorial Service will be held on April 18, 2015 at Alhiser-Comer Mortuary in Escondido. Burial, with full Military Honors, will be held at Valley Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Helen Woodward Animal Hospital, in honor of Gene’s love for animals.
