Gasper Ferrara's Obituary
He is survived by his wife, Maria; son, Jerry Ferrara (Vicki); daughters, Roseanne Cherry (Dewaine) and Jeri Jennings; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife of more than 42 years, Norma Ferrara in 1990. As an infant, he moved with his family to Escondido where he has lived since. Gasper was the son of Jerry and Rosa Ferrara who were one of the early families in Escondido. Gasper served in the Army during WWII. He was a business owner for more than 40 years, growing table and wine grapes while working in real estate and for the California State Employment Dept. Gasper also served as a Deputy Sheriff with the San Diego Cou Mr. Ferrara enjoyed watching football and was an avid Chargers fan. He also enjoyed studying the history of Baja California, exploring Anza Borrego State Park, and traveling the world. His adventures included traveling to Alaska and Baja California with
