Gary Bingham's Obituary
Above all, Gary Bingham was a good and decent man, loved by all. He was born in August of 1941 to Harrison and Margaret Bingham in Morocco, IN. He was one of nine children. He spent his early years on the family farm, where he learned the values that guided his life -- hard work, love of family and friends and compassion toward all, and the joy to build anything he set his mind to and enjoyment of repairing things for others and making them usable again. In 1960, shortly after graduating from Morocco High School, he made a trip to California to help his sister, Audrey, and her husband, Gene, relocate to Escondido. After enjoying the California sun he decided to make Escondido his home. He worked for S Gary married his wife, Cheryl, in 1984 and they enjoyed working together restoring vintage furniture for resale. He enjoyed wood working, gardening, road trips, fishing, the outdoors and being in nature.
