Fred Mesek's Obituary
Mr. Mesek was preceded in death by Sons: Fred Mesek Jr. in 2003 and Gary Mesek in 1999 and his parents Heman and Elizabeth Mesek. He is survived by his Wife of 26 years: Virginia L. Mesek; Daughter: Randy Mesek and husband Frank; Step-Children: Waren Pepke and wife Karen, Donald Repke and wife Helen, and Karen Okey; and Sister: Lee Sanders, as well as eight Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by his very best friend: Bob Gagliano. He obtained his undergraduate degree at Iowa State University. He contnued his education obtaining a Master's Degree in the field of Chemical Engineering at the University of Chicago. His career began with Johnson & Johnson Surgical Supplies in the Baby Products Division Research Lab in Chicago from 1942 to 1987. He had many patents for filter media and improvements in the disposable diaper. He received the General Johnson award twic
