Mrs. Higdon is survived by her daughters, Marla Ann Hollist, Mary Rebecca Patane, Karen Sue Hansen; sons John Robert Meridith, Ronald Knox Meridith; sisters, Margaret Jane Connally, Barbara Goodwin Attenillo; Stepchildren, Carol Ruffolo, David Higdon, Kathleen Williams, Danny Higdon; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren. The family request that donations be made to Elizabeth Hospice, 150 Crest St. Escondido, CA 92025 or the American Cancer Society, 2655 Camino Del Rio North, San Diego, C 92108-1633.
