Mr. Lippman was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Jeanne Lippmann in 2005. He is survived by his friend, Tim Terry of Escondido. He served our country in The United States Navy from 1941 to 1945 on the USS San Francisco, and was the last Pearl Harbor survivor in Escondido. He was a supervisor for Pacific Telephone for 40 years. He was a ham radio operator, model train collector and world traveler.
