Elizabeth "Betty" Rosalie Huff's Obituary
Betty Huff passed away in peace on Saturday morning, December 10, 2011. Born November 16, 1925 in Port Hueneme, Ventura County, CA, Betty was a resident of Escondido for close to 84 years. She graduated from Escondido High School in 1944 and attended Palomar College. Betty was more than a homemaker; she was a dedicated wife and mother, friend to many, excited about life and living it fully with love and kindness. She was a member of the Local Order of Moose, Elks, American Legion Women's Auxiliary, past President of Betty is survived by her brother, Bob Harroun; sons and daughters-in-law, Dan and Suzy Huff, Richard and Sharon Huff, daughter-in-law, Vicki Hauge-Huff; grandchildren, Nathan (Cindy), Micah (Amy), Danielle and Cody; and four great grandchildren, Sam, Simo A private family graveside service was held at Oak Hill Memorial Park on December 16, 2011. A memorial gathering for "Remembering Betty" will be held at the American Legion Hall, 230 Park Ave., Escondido, CA on Monday, December 26, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Elizabeth Hospice in Escondido, CA.
