Edward Paul Grangetto Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Grangetto was preceded in death by his wife, Josie Ann Grangetto in 2003. He is survived by his sons , Edward P. Grangetto, Jr. (Karen) and Kevin Michael Grangetto (Martha); daughter, Julie Ann Tripp (Wayne); grandchildren; Heather and Kyle Hawkins, Elise, Matthew and Lindsey Grangetto, and one great grandson, Colin Hawkins. During World War II, he enlisted as a private in the U.S. Army Air Corps, which later became the U.S. Air Force. He attended Escondido High School and studied horticulture at UC Davis, where he graduated in 1938. He was founder of Grangetto's Agriculture Supply and owned it for 30 years until his retirement in 1979. He enjoyed fishing, traveling and growing avocados and citrus.
