Douglas Max Hogue, 77, of Escondido, CA. was born September 30, 1946, in West Virginia and passed away Saturday January 27, 2024 in Palomar Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Frances Nesbitt-Hogue, daughter Tiffani Richard (Mathis) of Temecula, CA., stepdaughter Alicia Locket of Vista, CA., grandchildren Brittney Kelly (Jason) of Las Vegas and Mathis Richard II of Temecula, CA., and great grandchildren, Tyeson Kelly, Jason Kelly, Zyah Richard and Amiah Kelly. Brother Kenny (Sandy) of Escondido. Mr. Hogue was preceded in death by his parents Jasper and Minnie Hogue of Escondido, CA., his brother Fritz Hogue, and sister Edith Walters.
Doug had a passion for old cars and attending car shows. He loved being around his grandchildren and enjoyed the time he spent with the great grandkids.
He was a jack of all trades and loved working on the many projects he had going.
His favorite hobbies were drinking coffee and making new friends. He enjoyed playing the lottery, no matter where he was,he knew the best place to purchase his tickets and knew every coffee shop in town.
