Dorothy Jane Harrison's Obituary
She is survived by her two sons, Rick Harrison (Theresa) and Peter Harrison (Melissa); granddaughters, Alicia and Christine; brother Robert Mond (Mary) and sister Lorraine Mond. Her husband Enoch Hardy Harrison, preceded her in death, but not before they spent 47 years of life together. They met in the Tax Assesor's office where Dorothy worked, and again at the dance studio where Hardy worked. Now they dance together for eternity. Born in Chicago, IL, she came to Southern California in 1946 and stayed till her death. She was employed by the County of San Diego for 13 years and with the Escondido Elementary School District for 19 years. She served three years in the United States Army during WWII as a Private First Class WAC Detachment in Florida and Texas. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and was active in Cub Scouts, Little League and the Escon-Do-Cs Square Dance Club. Goodbye to a wonderful mother and grandmother. She lived a long and wonderful life, and was loved by all who knew her. She will be dearly missed, but will live on in our hearts for generations.
