Dorothy H. Bryant's Obituary
Dorothy earned a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from USC in 1940, and married Howard Bryant on January 6, 1946. An avid bridge player, Dorothy also enjoyed golf and needlepoint. She volunteered more than 5000 hours as a "Pink Lady" at Palomar Hospital in Escondido, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Escondido. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband in 1991. She is survived by daughters, Linda L. Wagner, Merilee A. Boyd, Jennifer (Rodney) Miller; sister, Mary Virginia Quenell; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. The interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy's name to any charity that supports children's welfare or the homeless.
