Dorothy Ann Cotton McDaniels' Obituary
Mrs. McDaniels is survived by her husband John D. McDaniels, Jr. ; daughter, Anne Conley; sons, J.D. McDaniels III, and William "Bill" McDaniels; sister Martha Gardner, and four grandchildren. We will miss her dearly. She attended Sullins College in Bristol, Virginia. She helped put her husband through Virginia Tech through employment in the Engineering Department by scoring the highest job entry grade in the history of Virginia Tech. She was a homemaker, avid golfer, and animal lover. Donation in Dorothy's memory may be made to Elizabeth Hospice Foundation, 150 W. Crest St., Escondido, CA 92025;
