Doris Jean Martin's Obituary
Doris "Jean" Anderson Martin, born July 4, 1929, in Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away at Westmont Town Court Retirement Community in Escondido, CA, on October 5, 2017. Jean will be lovingly remembered by family and friends for her love of knitting, baking, painting, and as a loving mother. She is survived by her devoted husband Wilbur Neal Martin, and two children, Nancy Claire Martin Norwood (and husband, Eric) in Escondido, CA, Wilbur Neal Martin Jr. (and wife, Sharon) in Mobile, AL, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Jean has one surviving sister, Ruth Tannehill, of Port St Lucie, FL. A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 8th at 10am at Alhiser-Comer Mortuary for family and friends in Escondido, CA. A gravesite service will be held at Memorial Burial Park, 10556 Gallia Heights, Wheelersburg, OH, on Saturday, October 14 at 10am.
