Dolores Otis "Doozie" Steeve's Obituary
Doozie, 83, died March 3, 2012, in Escondido. She was born October 21, 1928, in Poway to William Otis and Hester Flint Otis, both from Poway Pioneer families. After graduating from Escondido High School, Doozie married Escondido native, Rolf Steeve in June 1949. They both lived in Escondido for the remainder of their lives. They were married for 54 years when Rolf Sr. died in May 2004. Doozie loved horesback riding, traveling, and enjoying life with her family and friends. She was deeply loved and life is emptier without her.
