Dear Mark and family,
Perhaps I am remiss in sending my condolences so late, but Diane is one that will never be forgotten by anyone that knew her. I am happy to have just found this site to extend my thoughts to you and your family.
Diane lived up the street from me. We were high school buddies and she was the maid of honor in my wedding. Her sense of fun and humor was legendary among our friends and particularly the Adelphians Tri Hi Y club that allowed her way too many opportunities for her particular brand of mischief as we traveled away for vacations together. We were literally afraid of her stealth and cleverness, knowing she would always exact her playful revenge when and where we were least prepared. It was all in good fun and all so very memorable. She brought laughter and fun to every relationship she knew. What an indelible mark she left on her friends, one that cannot be replaced or forgotten. I am so grateful for the joy she brought to my life. I will miss her, always.
I haven’t any idea how you must “move on” from loving or being loved by Diane except to say in gratefulness. You have my heartfelt condolences.
