Dennis Joseph Subish's Obituary
Mr. Subish was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Annie Subish; brother Raymond Subish in 1981; son Julian Subish in 1996; and foster brother Robert McLean.
He is survived by his companion of 20 years, Carolyn Uihlein; sons Daniel Subish (Deanna), John Subish (Royleen), Mike Subish (Susan); stepson Mike Uihlein (Kathy); stepdaughters Socorra Uihlein and Deonna Uihlein; brother Irvin Moralas; foster brothers Irvin Hyde, Fidel Hyde and Manuel Moro; foster sisters Liz Banks and Inez McLean; 16 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Vietnam. He was a heavy-equipment operator for the U.S. Forest Service from 1968 to 1994. He graduated from Fallbrook High School. He was a fan of John Wayne. He enjoyed raising cattle, the San Diego Chargers, casinos and being a cowboy.
