Miss Davney was one of my favorite Residents that I had the honor of providing care for. I would always seek her out when I arrived just to see that smile she would give me when she saw me. The beauty in her personality shined within one simple smile and it always made me feel so happy to see her.

I have SO many wonderful memories of her....but my favorite one was on my birthday and I had to work which I didnt care for too much. She must have noticed I wasn't too happy and she asked me what was wrong. I told her its my birthday and she immediately beamed that smile of hers, held me in her arms, and sang 'Happy Birthday' to me in the way that Miss Davney does. THAT just touched me SO much it just made my day!

Other than her smile....I miss her the fun I had dancing with her. She was always so much fun. Singing with her. Laughing with her. Just walking with her and holding her hand. I miss her dearly.

Life is so short. Life is so precious. Despite all we do, we will always have regrets when we lose someone we love. I choose to focus on the time I was blessed to have with her. Her smile is now forever engraved in my heart and memories.

I will love and miss you forever Miss Davney.

Gram was hands down the best human, I don't think she ever spoke bad about anyone!! She always saw the good in people, it was so tuff to see her struggle at the end, losing your memory is so horrible, but our memory of her will be here forever, and I'm happy your finally back with gramp and the lord👼🏼 I just also want to add your cooking was pheonominial, and you passed it on to your kids, and absolutely I will pass it on to mine❤️❤️❤️ Love you Grammy!!!

I am truly blessed for all the time spent with my beautiful Grandmother. I have so many wonderful memories with her that I will forever cherish. She had such a contagious and joyous laugh that made it impossible for others to not join in. I remember listening to her in admiration as she played the piano so beautifully, and I was always so happy when her and I would play duets together. I remember all the weekends spent at her house, all the smiles, all the laughs, taking pictures and making silly faces, playing her favorite board games, church services, family holidays spent together, and so much more. My Grandmother Davney was a truly amazing woman, so kind and so loving to everyone around her. I have so much comfort knowing she is now with my Grandpa again, both in God's hands. I miss and love her so very much, and she will stay in my heart forever.
