David Godfrey Duro Jr., born on January 4, 1968, in San Diego, California, passed away at the age of 56 in Escondido, California, on June 2, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father, David Duro Sr., and is survived by a loving family: his mother, Maria Esparza; brothers Frank Duro, Gonzalo Amescua, and Israel Amescua; sisters Virginia Joye, Karen Duro, Kathy Osuna, and Jessica Duro; and his children, sons Thomas, Niko, Storm, and Noah Duro, and daughter Elizabeth Duro.
David was known for his vibrant personality and generous spirit. He was the life of the party, always ready to make everyone laugh and willing to lend a helping hand. From a young age, David had a passion for breakdancing, a hobby that reflected his energetic and joyful nature. Additionally, he was a talented artist, a passion that allowed him to express his creative side and brought joy to those around him.
A service to celebrate David's life will be held on June 28, 2024, from 4-8 P.M. at Alhiser-Comer in Escondido, California. The Alhiser-Comer funeral home is assisting with the arrangements, ensuring a respectful and memorable service for David, honoring his life and legacy.
