Clyde Jean Troutner's Obituary
He is survived by his wife, Laura Mae Gibson Troutner; daughters, Mary Teresa Troutner Blue (Berry James Blue), and Jean Irene Troutner Gowdy (Gregory Glenn Gowdy); grandsons, Jeremiah Lee Gowdy (Jamila Lovell Cullen Gowdy), Nicholas James Gowdy (Ashley Michelle McKeon), Barry James Blue II, Beau Garrett Blue. He joined the U.S. Navy at 17 years old. His military career was nine years, ten months; Korean War Veteran with the United Nations, Korean Combat Zone, and U.S. Navy Service Ribbons. His U.S. Navy training included Fire Fighting, First Aid, Survival Sc Clyde retired from Sears Roebuck as a service technician after 35 years and nine months, with numerous Sears Technical Training Certificates. He was a resident of California since January 1960, and was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary for two years. Mr. Troutner was temporairly anchored in Riverside National Cemetery from July 31, 2009. It was his wish to come back to San Diego County where he and Laura made their home for 50+ years. The family wants to thank everyone that made this possible.
