C.D. "Red" Malley
Born Cletus Donald Malley in Rochester MN to John Lawrence Malley and Marie Julia Butler, he grew up in Wykoff, MN where he married Dolores and became an Eastern Airlines flight attendant on “The Great Silver Fleet.” In 1953 the family moved to California where Red had a long career in the moving business.
His hobby was restoring and selling many El Caminos, earning him the title “Mr. El Camino.” Red also enjoyed horse racing with annual trips to the Del Mar Race Track.
He is preceded in death by his son, Steven Lee O’Malley, wife Dolores V. Schneider with whom he had 3 children and his second wife Wilma “Billie” Sherely, (“Nana” to Red’s grandchildren.)
He is survived by his daughter Georgiana Berg, son Donald J. “Buddy” O’Malley, 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
He was loved dearly and will be missed greatly.
