Christopher "Chris" Arthur Palmer's Obituary
Christopher (Chris) Arthur Palmer, 34, was born in Escondido, California on June 14, 1976 and went home to be in the presence of the Lord on May 13, 2011. He passed away in Oceanside, California from heart failure. He attended Calvin Christian School in Escondido, and graduated from Rite of Passage High School in Yerrington, Nevada with honors and as class president. An avid athlete and baseball fan he once took a job at Petco Park just so he could watch the games. In Little League baseball he was a catcher with a cannon for an arm. He played youth soccer, swam for the Escondido Swim Team, and in high school he lett The beach was his favorite place where he would surf, swim, jog, and keep his perfect tan. Poker was a favorite past time and he had hoped to one day play in the World Series of Poker.
Animals, especially cats, held a special place in his heart and h Christopher will be greatly missed by his parents, Stanley and Irene Palmer; his sister Jennifer Lee (Ken); his grandparents Glenn and Orba Roper; his grandmother Gertrude Palmer; his fiancée Megan Modafferi; and many other family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Christopher Palmer to Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego, Emmanuel Faith Community Church in Escondido, or to your favorite charity.
